Projects.

Below are my personal projects.

Glow.

Myself and 2 other ladies I met through the Women in Games Jobs group have decided to collaborate on a non-violent, slightly educational game for children aged 3 and up. We are currently working on gameplay and art assets.

We hope to make the game fun for children and intuitive to their play style at that age. For more details please see our Facebook page.

Sing It, Laurie!

I worked as a Junior Designer for Lady Shotgun as part of the Games Trainee Finder from Creative Skillset. I found the experience gained to be invaluable. I was part of the Sing it Laurie project, and worked on many aspects of the game. I was responsible for:

• Preparing art, animation and audio assets deliveries from the artists, animators and the audio engineer and making them ready for inclusion in the game.

• Managing the hand-over of assets to development team.

• Testing builds on iOS and Android.

• Using team management software to communicate with the rest of the team.

• Doing hands on development of a working mock up using Construct2.

I really enjoyed working as part of the Lady Shotgun Team, and hope to take the experience I have gained and put it to use on future projects.

Road Hog Games

Road Hog Games is a studio set up by myself and 3 other students. We aim to bring to market fun and enjoyable games based on retro titles we all loved as children.

Our first work in process is entitled LGD or Little Green Dude, and is based on the classic PONG.

XX Gamejam 2012

I took part in the first all female gamejam, which was held in the Mindcandy studios in Shoreditch. It was sponsered by Ada Lovelace Day. We had 48 hours in which to create a game based around the theme of clockwork.

The video was put together over the weekend and features many of the ladies who were there including myself.

Click the buttons below for more information on the jam. I also hope to have the game itself up here soon.

The Dark Inside is a survival horror title.

Learn with Noah is a learning app, designed for 2 - 4 year olds.
